This privacy policy describes how Type Services handles your personal information and applies only to personal information collected through this website or via Gumroad, which I use to sell fonts.

Information collected

Type Services does not collect your personal information unless you choose to give it to us. If you choose only browser this website no identifiable information will be collected.

There are 2 ways you can choose to share your information:

By subscribing to the Type Services mailing list.
By downloading Fonts from this website or directly from Gumroad.

In each of the above places, you may give us details of identifiable information including one or more of the following:

Your name
Your email address

When you download a Font for free or donate a fee in exchange for a Font, you agree to the Type Services End User Licence Agreement.

Use of your information

Your identifiable information will be used in the following ways:

To send you marketing emails and news updates
To send you Font updates for specific Fonts you have downloaded
To provide you with purchase receipts on request
To respond to your inquiries

3rd party Services

Type Services does not store or directly process your credit card data, that is handled securely by Gumroad. You can read the Gumroad privacy policy here.

Type Services uses Google Analytics. Here’s Google’s privacy policy.

If you have signed up to receive emails, your email address is shared with Mailchimp. Here is the Mailchimp privacy policy.

Security

Your information is stored on secure servers hosted by Mailchimp and Gumroad. As these are 3rd party tools Type Services cannot guarantee your data will alway remain private and secure.

Type Services takes various methods to help protect your information including the use of double opt-in sign ups, secure password generators and two-factor authentication.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act and GDPR you have certain entitlements relating to our collection, use and storage of your personal information.

Type Services will provide you with access to your held personal information any time. If you no longer want to share your personal information, please request for it to be deleted.
